One of my favorite travel apps of all time was geared around the idea of offering unsold hotel inventory at deeply discounted rates.
As a user, it was great because you could get last-minute hotels at incredible rates. For the hotels, it was also great because it allowed them to sell rooms that otherwise would have gone unsold.
When the App was independent, it was great. Then, it got sold to one of the top 3 Big Hotel companies. They kept the user interface, but turned it into just another generic hotel booking app.
In this course, we’re going to make an app that allows users to get a Hotel Room Tonight.
This is a "software architect" level course, where we consider both business and technical concerns.
